Professional Resources for Psychologists and Allied Professionals

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change
. — Carl Rogers

Career Resources, both websites and books for different careers in psychology and some related mental health fields.

Clinician Resources, both websites and books on continuing education, training videos and books, licensure information, ethics in psychology, assessment and other practical clinical areas.

Diversity Resources webpages on a wide range of diversity related topics, including career databases for women and minority clinicians in psychology and related mental heath fields, and several diversity empowering divisions in the American Psychological Association.

Resources for the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP), not passing this exam severely limits the career opportunities for aspiring psychologists. I found these resources personally helpful when I passed the EPPP. Also contains helpful study resources and techniques for any test taking or study situation, so some of these links can also be very helpful for the needs of other mental health licensure examinees.

Ethics Codes, there is no good clinical practice without sound ethical practice. This section of my website provides over 50 national and international ethics codes and related professional guidelines for psychology, psychiatry, social workers, licensed professional counselors, ministers, and other allied professionals.

Graduate and Undergraduate Student Resources, websites and books for psychology and related mental health students, practical information on different dimensions of applying to graduate schools, internships, and postdoctoral training.

Private Practice Resources, practical resources for different dimensions of having a private mental health practice, relevant for psychologists and many related mental health fields and career clinical settings.

Regulatory licensure boards, webpages for both Canada, the United States and related territories and and provinces.
