AIDS Services of Austin addresses HIV needs in the Austin area by providing services such as testing, prevention, emergency funds, legal assistance, and services focused on women living with HIV.
American Psychological Association's LGBT Resources and Publications, research based information on a wide range of topics including how to talk to children about diversity/inclusivity issues, how to help reduce sexual prejudice, and facilitate coming out.
The Austin Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit business organization promoting networking, education, and support for gay and gay-friendly businesses.
The Austin Latino/Gay and Lesbian Organization describes their mission, in part, by stating, “The founding members of allgo decided that LGBT people of color would also have a home and a base of operations in Austin for impacting issues concerning LGBT people of color.”
